Had an amazing experience at My Wonderful Kitchen. Great flavour and reasonable prices. We got the Mix and Match Combo. Highly recommend the C20 (Grouper with Salty Egg Yolk) and B6 (Peking Duck).

My glutinous appetite couldn't resist ordering from both their dim sum and dinner menu, with absolutely no regrets from either. The peking duck and tenderloin were my favourites of the day. Sliced expertly for a beautiful layer of skin, fat and juicy meat that basically melts in your mouth, bursting with umami juices. The beef tenderloin needs no introduction for its tenderness, stir fried with mushrooms that amplify the umaminess of the beef, along with vegetables that have been quickly kissed by the heat to retain a refreshing crisp. All that is brought together with a black pepper garlic sauce. Naturally, a celebration isn't complete with a whole lobster cooked in a fragrant ginger scallion sauce in a blazing hot wok, for a snappy and crisp texture and a subtly sweet taste that I love.

A wonderful place to have authentic Hong Kong and Chinese food. My favourite was the mango mochi , it had a large amount of sweet cream inside and large chunks of mango! One of the staff was very rude. But still highly recommend

Bright and clean Chinese restaurant at Richmond Hill. Been a customer for many years. Amazing customer services. Big shouts to May, Sonia, Kay, Ivy & Ping. These ladies are always welcoming, attentive and courteous. Constantly checked on us to make sure our tea was refilled and everything was good. Dim sum served hot and fast. They tasted great and authentic!

Great tasting dim sum at a decent price. Presentation for the manga glutinous ball was unexpected, in a good way. Edit Sat May 24 2025: Pretty good.

2023 update - came for dinner with a party of four. Staff here were quite friendly and polite. The food was pretty good value as well - we opted for the mix an match deal which essentially had 5 dishes, plus soup and dessert, for 160. This was much better value than another Richmond Hill favourite, Lobster Port, where we last had a big Chinese meal. Will definitely be coming back to My Wonderful Kitchen! Can't comment on the price as I was here for a family dinner and a relative paid the bill, but the food tasted really good. We had a set meal that included an 8 pound lobster which was great, a braised beef short rib, fish, snow peas and some other dishes. This place has been around for awhile and it is still pretty busy which says something in my opinion.

My Wonderful Kitchen isa great spot for authentic dim sum! The service is fast, and the seating options—whether in a booth or a private room—are spacious and comfortable. All S, M, and L dishes are the same price before 11 AM, making it a fantastic deal. We tried a variety of dishes and loved every single one! If you’re looking for a great dim sum experience with excellent value and a cozy atmosphere, My Wonderful Kitchen is a great choice!

This is definitely one of the nicest morning tea spots my family and I always go to! If you’re just looking to sip tea, relax, chat, and enjoy some dim sum, the prices are pretty reasonable. There’s also dinner menu options! Since we were really hungry, we ended up ordering a mix of dim sum and dinner dishes—just take a look at the pictures, haha! Let me introduce you to some of my favorite dim sum dishes: Beef Tendon – super flavorful with a chewy yet slightly crunchy texture! Chicken Feet – a classic must-try. Fried Squid – crispy and delicious. Toro Ribs & Fried Toro – packed with rich flavors. Corn & Pumpkin Congee – warm and comforting. Fried Noodles – always a great choice. Cold Mango Mochi Dessert – the perfect sweet ending! I’ll label each dish under the pictures so you know exactly which ones I’m talking about! We were so full by the end and, of course, had some leftovers—which we happily packed to go!
